Partners Breakfast Recap
Last week, we had the honor of hosting our annual Partners Breakfast in partnership with the Town of Holly Springs, as part of our ongoing governmental support funding initiatives. Held at Devils Ridge Golf Club, the event brought together a powerhouse group of elected officials from all levels of government, public safety leaders, town staff, business executives, and Chamber members for an insightful morning of updates and connection.
Key Takeaways:
➡️ Wake County continues to be the third fastest growing county in the United States—adding an estimated 66 residents per day as people seek proximity to job opportunities. Nearly half of those relocating are over 55, which highlights evolving community needs.
➡️ With that growth comes the need for strategic infrastructure investment—including water resources for Holly Springs, road improvements, and expanding the Wake Tech campus to prepare a ready and skilled workforce, and a possible $18 million expansion at the UNC Rex Hospital.
➡️ Transportation continues to be a primary focus to not only ease the burden from Holly Springs residents, but those commuting to Holly Springs for works.
This event is just one of the many ways the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce works to keep our business community informed, engaged, and partnered with the leaders shaping our region’s future.
