Yesterday we had the honor of celebrating Triangle Montessori Academy with a ribbon cutting celebration 🥳

Since its founding in 2008, Triangle Montessori Academy (TMA) has been providing authentic Montessori education. With its original campus in the heart of Cary and their newest location, we are all here for today right here in Holly Springs.

TMA offers programs for children aged 18 months to 12 years, spanning Toddler, Primary, and Lower & Upper Elementary levels. TMA is a member of the American Montessori Society (AMS), and all lead teachers are AMS-certified.

The academy cultivates independent thinking in a peaceful and supportive community. Students benefit from in-school enrichment programs such as Yoga, Spanish, and a cultural cooking curriculum that often features student-grown produce. A wide range of after-school activities, including Kidokinetics, golf, tennis, art, soccer, and music, further enriches the TMA experience.

A special thank you to our circle members who attended Thrive Skin + Wellness and the Town of Holly Springs. Board Members Chris Cook, Jeff Weegar and Tillie Cairnes and our Ambassadors Megan Zaval, Rachel Woods and Manz ballesteros!

THANK YOU!! 🙏

Preparing for Wintry Weather
"Duke Energy is paying close attention to evolving forecasts and potential impacts across the Carolinas beginning tomorrow afternoon and into Thursday.

We have a detailed storm response plan and are prepared if severe weather causes power outages. Crews are ready to support outage restoration in impacted areas. We can also move crews not in the storm’s path to areas where outages occur.

Strong wind gusts are predicted across the higher elevations of the mountain zone. In the Triangle and Triad regions, we are preparing for light to moderate snow and a wintry mix of sleet. Snow and ice are predicted in the eastern portions of the state.

Accumulation amounts can be an important factor when determining where outages may occur. It generally takes about six inches or more of wet snow to see the same power outage impacts as one-fourth of an inch of ice. These amounts can cause tree branches to sag and break, potentially damaging poles and wires and creating power outages.

Visit our Storm Center for comprehensive safety tips before, during, and after severe weather.

Outage Reporting:
Use the Duke Energy mobile app.
Visit duke-energy.com/outages on a desktop computer or mobile device.
Text OUT to 57801
Call 800POWERON (800-769-3766).
Sign up for Outage Alerts and regularly check our Outage Map for estimated restoration times."

Last week, the Holly Springs High School Entrepreneurship Club had the privilege of hearing from @Holden Bierman, Founder & CEO of @Coastal Cool .

At just 12 years old, while attending Holly Grove Middle School, Holden recognized how much time he was spending scrolling on social media—and decided to turn that time into something productive: building a business.

Now a junior at Fuquay-Varina High School, Holden has grown Coastal Cool into a sustainable swimwear brand that transforms recycled plastic bottles into stylish, eco-friendly apparel. His story of innovation, perseverance, and purpose resonated deeply with our students.

It’s not every day you meet an entrepreneur who is also a high school student, making Holden’s insights and journey all the more inspiring!

Thank you, Holden, for sharing your time, experience, and insight with us.
